All of these videos were shot and edited by me! I keep things quick and snappy with CapCut for short-form content, but switch to DaVinci Resolve when a project calls for more detail and polish.
Most of the time, I post this kind of content with my friends via my private Instagram account. Every now and then, I'll share a few on TikTok so others can enjoy them, too. Over the past year (September 2024-September 2025), my TikTok posts have accumulated 1.1 million views.
Through these personal projects, I continued building skills that carry over to my professional work--such as video editing, public speaking, search engine optimization, and more.
Film Reviews
Alongside video editing, I love writing long-form movie reviews, as film has always been something I'm deeply drawn to. The ability to express a story through aesthetic shots and meticulous elements helps me recognize the beauty in everyday life--something I might otherwise overlook. Creating engaging content in this way is a goal I pursue in my professional work, and writing thoughtful reviews inspires me to create pieces that resonate with others. This outlet also motivates me to continuously refine my writing skills. Although my format is definitely more on the casual side, crafting these reviews helps me better articulate my thoughts--an essential skill in bringing visual storytelling to life.
