Hi! I'm Amber Calceta.
I'm a graphic design artist, digital marketer, content creator, and much more.
Education
I have always held a passion to create. This led me to pursue a Communications degree with an emphasis in Digital Arts and Media at Holy Names University (may the university rest in peace... sadly I was a part of the last class to graduate before the university closed its doors in 2022).
Career
My creative journey started when I was recruited as a yerd (yearbook nerd) at Sheldon High School, circa 2015. Throughout my 2 years on the team, I was introduced to Adobe InDesign and Photoshop, and discovered the power of visual storytelling.
It was then that I realized this is what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I continued to develop and fine-tune my skills through my college courses at HNU. My studies covered a wide range of media—from photography and film to web design and creative writing. Essentially, I'm a jack of all trades when it comes to media.
This led me to land an internship with my university's social media team, in which I captured the student life through photography and journalism, and uploaded my work onto various social media sites.
Whether I’m designing, writing, or creating content, I’m always learning and pushing myself to grow as an artist.
My goal is to collaborate with passionate marketers and creators to build work that makes a meaningful impact—on both brands and the people they serve.
Me Outside of Work
When I'm not focused on professional projects, I make time to create purely for my own enjoyment. I love filming and editing videos for my TikTok and personal Instagram accounts, where I'm often goofing off or singing covers of songs that make me feel alive.
Creative writing has also been a huge outlet for me, helping me stay grounded amidst a busy lifestyle. Writing long-form movie reviews on Letterboxd gives me the freedom to explore my thoughts and think outside the box. I love visual storytelling, and breaking films down through writing helps me strengthen the skills I apply in my own creative work.
While I do these things mainly for fun, the processes of writing, filming, and editing all contribute to sharpening skills that directly support my professional growth.
